Dress up Your Denim

I’m so excited to have had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with Sophie of Smitten Sophie to show you guys two different ways to dress up your denim! Sophie is an amazing fashion blogger and has a great sense of fashion. I’m a Miami gal and she’s a Toronto/Seattle blogger, so it makes things fun! What do you think about how we dressed up our denim? My outfit details are at the end of this post!

Sophie chose to dress up her denim with a faux wrap striped blouse and some ah-mazing jewels. I love that she didn’t overdo it with the jewelry. I like the simple touches of elegant pieces. And her sunnies… obsessed! She’s such a great blogger so make sure to check out her blog and give her some insta-love!

I dressed up my denim with a peplum blouse, a thinner statement necklace and some black pumps. I love denim because of it’s versatility. One day you’ll see me slouching in a big sweater and boyfriend jeans and another day you’ll see me all ready to go for a girl’s night out on the town. I opted for the darker denim because it tends to be slimming (or so I convince myself).
