Mama life is a new journey for me and I can't wait to take you along for the ride and go through it together.
I wore this lace dress while in Charleston and it’s honestly such a great dress for an even better price. I love wearing white during the summer, well, during every season really! This dress is comfortable, versatile and breezy for those really hot summer days and nights where you’d rather just be walking around in a bathing suit.
I paired it with a thin summer scarf, which unfortunately is not available but you can see some great options here. There’s even one with pineapples on it!
While in Charleston, we visited Rainbow Row, which is the prettiest street with colorful houses. It felt like you weren’t in a huge city anymore, but instead in a quaint little town and I loved it! I even tried peeking in some of the houses but a lot of them have their windows closed (probably because of people like me, haha). This was probably one of my favorite places, scenic-wise, in Charleston.
Don’t forget about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! You can shop my favorites here and here. Also, scroll down to see my beauty picks from the sale! I thought it would be fun and easy to break my favorites up into categories so that you can see what I’m loving and what I recommend from the sale. This is a great sale to really take advantage of. I’ve bought so much already! Right now it’s open to Nordstrom debit/credit card holders (if you apply for a debit card there are no fees and it links to your bank account… super easy!), but this Friday it will open up to the public! Get excited… 🙂 I’ll be sharing my favorites all week and posting my purchases on Instagram. Let me know if there’s any other way you want me to share my favorites so that it’s easier for you to shop!
Thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing Monday. 🙂

Curling Iron: I’m so picky about curling irons because a lot of them are horrible quality, burn your hair or don’t give you the look you want. This curling iron is great and doesn’t make your hair smell burnt at all! I also love that it’s a 1.5 inch so it’ll give you more beach waves rather than Shirley Temple curls. The price is great and it’s something worth investing in!
Microderm Device: I’ve had cystic acne since I was about 11 or 12. It gets bad when I’m stressed or overwhelmed, and this microderm device is the perfect solution. It uses the same technique that a dermatologist would use but you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Microdermabrasion helps with acne so much and also reduces hyper-pigmentation/scarring.
Brow Set: I swear by Anastasia. Honestly, it’s all I use on my eyebrows. This is the exact product that I use and I’m hooked! I also love how long the product lasts… definitely worth it.
Neutral Lip Pencils: These are great to keep in your cosmetic pouch or purse when you’re on the go and want a neutral lip color. I love everything by Nars.
Laura Mercier Set: I only use Laura Mercier products (and Nars for my blush/bronzer) and this is a great set if you want a natural, soft look and are just starting out with Laura Mercier. I have been using her products for over three years now and will never try anything else. Everything applies so smoothly and it looks natural, instead of overdone. Not to mention she makes her products with people who have acne and rosacea in mind so they’re really good for your skin.
Mac Basic Brush Set: I have so many Mac brushes that I should be ashamed of myself. But, they are the best! They last forever, clean really well and are great quality. The price for this set is so great and it is completely worth it! You’ll never want to use another brush again.
The Perfect Eye & Cheek Kit: This is an amazing set for a soft, natural sun-kissed look. I swear by all of her products, especially since they’re great for those who are acne-prone or have rosacea.
Clarisonic: I use this every time I wash my face and I have makeup on. When I don’t have makeup on (in the morning), I just use my hands to wash my face. But this device works wonders when you want to make sure you get all of that makeup off of your face. I’ve had it for as long as I can remember and it’s the best. I remember when I started using it, my dermatologist could tell because my face looked so much cleaner in just a week’s use!
Blush and Contour Kit: I absolutely love Nars’ blush and bronzer. And the brush that comes with this is the exact brush that I use to contour (well, when I try to contour). This kit is great and I actually am considering getting it myself…
These are all products I highly recommend! If you have any questions, you can leave them in the comments below.

I love your shoes, I’ve never seen a teardrop opening like that and it’s beautiful!
Also I really need a clairsonic, but I also really need to buy gas. Can’t wait to graduate so that at next year’s sale I can get one (hopefully they will be one sale again)
I have my eyes on some booties at Nordstrom, but I can’t shop until Thursday!

Are you serious?! You need to go but in the fall or spring! It was WAY too hot!!!! I’m so happy you’re back! I want to hear about your time abroad! <3
The lace dress is so pretty on you! Love that you styled it with a pink scarf, it’s perfect (and it looks like it matches your nails too)! Rainbow Row looks so pretty, like a pastel version of La Boca in Buenos Aires

I’ve seen so many girls recommend that curling iron! I am still in the process of growing my hair out but should go ahead and make the investment in the curling iron now while it’s on sale! Thanks for the recommendations!

I LOVE that scarf! I really want to get a Clarisonic soon. Right now I use a charcoal bar for my face, but I feel like the clarisonic would do wonders!

OMG you need it! I swear by it! It’s so worth it.
I loveee the way that you styled your little white dress 🙂 You are absolutely gorgeous, sweet girl!
I have been really curious about the personal microdermabrasion devices. I have had issues with cystic acne for the past year, and I have no idea how to treat it. What kind of skin care products do you use?
Hope your week is off to a great start!

Hi love! I have horrible cystic acne… 🙁 I use my dermatologist’s products… they have salicylic acid and are really good! I also use retina at night and some other prescription products (aczone is one of them but I forgot my morning one!). If you don’t go to a dermatologist, I definitely recommend it! I get a facial every few months, too… should be going more often like once a month but it’s hard to go for me! Definitely go to your derm and they can get you retina from the actual company who makes it and it will only be like $10/$15! Email me if you want any more info <3
Such a cute outfit! I have always wanted to try the clarisonic! I just have a hard time spending that much money on something!

Haha! Oh my gosh you’re so funny! My dad has a really good camera because photography is a huge hobby of his (well it was until I started making him take outfit photos every weekend!)… his camera is the Canon Mark 3 5d! It’s so good!! Definitely not me… it’s the camera :p
That outfit it bomb! I mean gosh I’m floored at how gorgeous that lace dress is on you.

First off, LOVE the white and peach combo. Gorgeous! Second, I didn’t know microdermabrasian helps with acne!!! I’ve been battling acne for what feels like forever, and I can never seem to find that solution that leaves me feeling truly good and confident about my skin. Maybe it’s time to take the plunge! Have you done any other posts on your skin/skincare routine??
