I wore this lace dress while in Charleston and it’s honestly such a great dress for an even better price. I love wearing white during the summer, well, during every season really! This dress is comfortable, versatile and breezy for those really hot summer days and nights where you’d rather just be walking around in a bathing suit.
I paired it with a thin summer scarf, which unfortunately is not available but you can see some great options here. There’s even one with pineapples on it!
While in Charleston, we visited Rainbow Row, which is the prettiest street with colorful houses. It felt like you weren’t in a huge city anymore, but instead in a quaint little town and I loved it! I even tried peeking in some of the houses but a lot of them have their windows closed (probably because of people like me, haha). This was probably one of my favorite places, scenic-wise, in Charleston.
Don’t forget about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! You can shop my favorites here and here. Also, scroll down to see my beauty picks from the sale! I thought it would be fun and easy to break my favorites up into categories so that you can see what I’m loving and what I recommend from the sale. This is a great sale to really take advantage of. I’ve bought so much already! Right now it’s open to Nordstrom debit/credit card holders (if you apply for a debit card there are no fees and it links to your bank account… super easy!), but this Friday it will open up to the public! Get excited… 🙂 I’ll be sharing my favorites all week and posting my purchases on Instagram. Let me know if there’s any other way you want me to share my favorites so that it’s easier for you to shop!
Thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing Monday. 🙂

Curling Iron: I’m so picky about curling irons because a lot of them are horrible quality, burn your hair or don’t give you the look you want. This curling iron is great and doesn’t make your hair smell burnt at all! I also love that it’s a 1.5 inch so it’ll give you more beach waves rather than Shirley Temple curls. The price is great and it’s something worth investing in!
Microderm Device: I’ve had cystic acne since I was about 11 or 12. It gets bad when I’m stressed or overwhelmed, and this microderm device is the perfect solution. It uses the same technique that a dermatologist would use but you can do it in the comfort of your own home. Microdermabrasion helps with acne so much and also reduces hyper-pigmentation/scarring.
Brow Set: I swear by Anastasia. Honestly, it’s all I use on my eyebrows. This is the exact product that I use and I’m hooked! I also love how long the product lasts… definitely worth it.
Neutral Lip Pencils: These are great to keep in your cosmetic pouch or purse when you’re on the go and want a neutral lip color. I love everything by Nars.
Laura Mercier Set: I only use Laura Mercier products (and Nars for my blush/bronzer) and this is a great set if you want a natural, soft look and are just starting out with Laura Mercier. I have been using her products for over three years now and will never try anything else. Everything applies so smoothly and it looks natural, instead of overdone. Not to mention she makes her products with people who have acne and rosacea in mind so they’re really good for your skin.
Mac Basic Brush Set: I have so many Mac brushes that I should be ashamed of myself. But, they are the best! They last forever, clean really well and are great quality. The price for this set is so great and it is completely worth it! You’ll never want to use another brush again.
The Perfect Eye & Cheek Kit: This is an amazing set for a soft, natural sun-kissed look. I swear by all of her products, especially since they’re great for those who are acne-prone or have rosacea.
Clarisonic: I use this every time I wash my face and I have makeup on. When I don’t have makeup on (in the morning), I just use my hands to wash my face. But this device works wonders when you want to make sure you get all of that makeup off of your face. I’ve had it for as long as I can remember and it’s the best. I remember when I started using it, my dermatologist could tell because my face looked so much cleaner in just a week’s use!
Blush and Contour Kit: I absolutely love Nars’ blush and bronzer. And the brush that comes with this is the exact brush that I use to contour (well, when I try to contour). This kit is great and I actually am considering getting it myself…
These are all products I highly recommend! If you have any questions, you can leave them in the comments below.
