Happy Monday! I can’t believe summer is officially over. Today begins the first day of classes and the hustle shall now resume! I’m warning you now, I’ll probably be a little overwhelmed these first few weeks… but, hopefully, my posts/blog won’t suffer!

Yesterday it felt like 100 degrees, and yes… you could feel it. My face actually burned after shooting from how strong the sun was! It’s crazy. I try my best to shoot some fall-inspired outfits but I look like a ridiculous human being outside in the Miami temperatures with a jacket and jeans (tomorrow’s post…).

I recently picked up this dress and absolutely love it! You honestly can never go wrong with a navy shirtdress. What I love is that it looks like it’s thick, because it’s long-sleeve, but it’s actually really thin and breezy! I wore it on Saturday also and had no problems with the heat. Dresses like this are what I’ll be living in to go to class! I also love the floral detailing because it makes the dress more feminine and brings some life to the ensemble. For some reason, lately all I can wear are shirtdresses. They’re such great pieces for any season and are really so comfortable.

This week, I’ll be posting another back to school collage! I’ll post the one I did for shoes below… I’m currently craving ALL of those shoes. I own a few of them, but the rest I have on my wish list. I think one of the most important things for school is a comfortable pair of shoes. After all, you’re most likely going to be walking around a lot, so might as well make it comfortable… and fashionable!
