With turning 22 just around the corner (I’m old), and having to attend meetings and events for the blog, I really love to invest in quality pieces that will help me be stylish and comfortable for such occasions.

This plaid jacket is so pretty! I got it during the Shopbop sale and didn’t think twice. The picture on the site isn’t the prettiest, but I knew that I would love the draped front, plaid print and raw neckline. You all know how obsessed I am with plaid, so being able to score a plaid jacket for under $100 is a win-win in my mind. It’s also so comfortable and perfect for layering. It’s not long in the back, so the cropped cut can make it easier to dress up or down for a girl’s night out! Plus, it’s on sale!

To add some color, I wore a simple basic blouse that I actually have in every color and my new favorite necklace. I’ve had this necklace on repeat and love how simple yet elegant it is! It’s also not heavy at all, which is a huge plus.

I hope you guys are doing well! I’ve been feeling super sick since last Wednesday and now we think I might have salmonella… such a great thing to have as we’re nearing the end of the school semester, right? 🙁 Ugh. Hopefully it goes away soon because I actually feel like I’m dying!
