Turtlenecks and Utility Vests

Happy Monday, everyone! I can’t believe that it’s the first day of classes. Ugh, summer break, where are you?! Anyways, whenever we get a cold front in Miami I like to take full advantage of it by taking out my scarves (see some of my favorites here, here and here) and wearing long sleeves. I love winter-wear but would probably not be able to handle the cold for so long. I can’t even handle 50 degrees!

I absolutely love anything with stripes. I used to dislike stripes, but I now can’t stop wearing them! I want to say that at least one-third of my closet contains stripes. I also love my red boots that I can wear when it’s either cold or raining (in Miami, most likely raining). I wanted to add something to the stripes, so mixed the navy blue and red with a deep olive green. Unfortunately, the exact vest I have on has sold out but this one is extremely similar and I absolutely love this one! And while we’re talking about things I love, can we please admire this beauty? I have the regular one, but now I want this one because it has pearls!

This week is going to be a little rough for me in terms of posting because I have to get back in the swing of things, in regards to school. So I’m apologizing now just in case you see that I’ve gone just a little bit absent… it’ll just be for this week, I promise! I’m going to try my best to keep you all in the loop of what’s going on over here in #tfd land, haha!
