If you haven’t noticed by now, I’ll tell you a little secret about myself… I have an obsession with mixing plaid and leopard prints. It’s actually kind of extreme how many of these plaid tops I now own. They’re just so easy to dress up or down and are over-the-top comfortable, which is what I need when going to and from campus. I wanted to give this outfit a more relatable approach by wearing dark wash skinny jeans and lace-up heels. While the jeans are a bit on the pricey side, I promise you’d get all of your money’s worth out of them. I’ve worn mine 4 times since I’ve had them, which has only been since mid-last week. There’s nothing better than a soft, comfortable and flattering pair of denim. Instead of pairing plaid with a statement necklace, like I did here, I opted for daintier jewels. There’s so much you can do with a basic plaid top! How would you wear yours?
PS. Just realized I’m wearing some green in this post for St. Patrick’s Day! 🙂
Thank you so much! Oh, you should definitely consider these… also, the ones in tomorrow’s post are my favorite, too! They’re so perfect for spring/summer!
Girl, I love your blog… but today I came on here to compliment you on how gracious you are when responding to rude comments on instagram. Nothing I love more than a girl who knows how to take the high road… kudos to you for not being rude in return! XO
Hi! Thank you so much! It’s really hurtful when people are rude but I’ve always been taught by my parents to take the high road… thank you for noticing! I try to be nice to everyone, no matter who they are or what they say! <3 🙂 I hope you've been having a great week!!
Love this look Lauren! Dying for some lace up nude heels 🙂
xoxo, Jessy
