Mama life is a new journey for me and I can't wait to take you along for the ride and go through it together.
Happy Wednesday! Usually, I don’t really mind what day of the week it is because I’ve been on summer vacation. But, with a new school year starting on Monday, I’m really wishing this week would go by a lot slower than it is! It’s hard to believe that next summer I’ll be done with school. I’m so excited! I’ve never been someone who’s loved school. I’m more of a get-your-experience-in-real-life kind of gal.
Before I start, thank you so much for everyone who commented on my Instagram post where I talked a little about having fibromyalgia, just recently being diagnosed with PCOS and going through some ‘bullying.’ It still amazes me how grown women can be so mean to one another and put each other down. I understand doing it when you were in high school (and, even then, I don’t get it)… but in your 20s I think it’s time to grow up a little! I wanted to talk a little bit about PCOS. I’ve been uncontrollably gaining weight since last September. I had no idea why. As a blogger, image is important to me. While it’s not everything, I do take it into high consideration at all times since I’m the face of my blog! Gaining weight definitely brought a lot of depression, anxiety, and overall sadness. However, hopefully now that I’ve been properly diagnosed, I can start losing weight and feeling myself again!
About the outfit… I absolutely love this bell sleeve blouse! I received it last week and have worn it several times since. I think it says ‘I’m a grown up’ without being too over-the-top sophisticated. It looks so gorgeous with olive green skinnies, dark denim, shorts, you name it. I love the bell sleeves and how they really give a different look to your everyday white blouse. They also make it easy to transition the look from day to night.
For accessories, I added a print with my favorite leopard heels and my new tote! How beautiful is this Henri Bendel bag? I’ve been looking for the perfect black tote and this one definitely is it! I love that it can be worn as a cross body, too. I’m all about cross bodies because they’re comfortable and easy to wear. Not to mention, the shape is so pretty! It fits a lot inside and the leather is Saffiano, which makes it’s really durable. For just under $300, this is a great investment and it also comes in taupe and pink! You can check out of all of HB’s new arrivals here. I’m loving every single one of them… yikes.
PS. Make sure to sign up for my newsletter! I’ve been getting a lot of questions on how to get out of an Instagram slump and I thought it would be great to send out my tips exclusively to those who have subscribed to my blog. Every Wednesday, I’ll be sending out a newsletter based on questions you’ve asked me. I’ll also be putting together gift guides, my favorite five, and so much more that will be just for my subscribers, so make sure to subscribe over to the right!
Have a great day! xo

I can’t believe people are bullying you…like you said, it is time to grow up! Seriously so immature. I’m sorry you’ve been having a difficult time. You are GORGEOUS-haters gonna hate!
Adorable shirt! Your shoes are fabulous!
It takes SO much bravery to be as open and honest as you have been about such personal issues! It’s a lesson to all of us that everyone we know can be fighting a battle, even if things look perfect on the outside. I love the boho feel of your look here and am super excited for bell sleeves and bell bottoms this fall!
I can’t believe people have been bullying you — we’re all adults here and should act like them.
You are absolutely beautiful and have a lot of wonderful things going for you so just shake it off, girl 🙂
Ps – those shoes and that blouse are amazing.

That is terrible that you have had to deal with bullying on top of the health issues going on!!! I’m glad you got a diagnosis though and hope things are on the uphill! You are beautiful inside and out!

Thank you so much for having the courage to share your story, I know as a fashion blogger there’s so much pressure constantly to be perfect 24/7- you are stunning and should never feel otherwise! Love that outfit, as well. Bell sleeves are the best!

I can’t believe you’re being bullied. At this age. Ugh sometimes people really suck! You just have to keep shining and doing you!
I’m so sorry you have to go through bullying! A lot of people think they’re so tough behind a computer screen, but shake off these haters! You’re absolutely fabulous! Also, this top is so perfect. Love that it can be dressed down with jeans or dressed up for work!

Love your necklace! and I can’t believe you’re being bullied, at this stage of life!!
For starters you look stunning at any size, and those women should be ashamed of themselves for bullying you – some people just never leave middle school I swear! Also, your new HB bag is too precious – I always have such a hard time finding a black bag and this one is too perfect!
Pick Your Beau
You are wonderful, just how you are – I’m so sorry people have bullied you! Definitely loving that blouse and your necklace, they are so cute!

Those heels are everything! Love them!
This outfit is bae. I love every single part of it, from the leopard heels to the flowy blouse and statement monogram! And forget the haters. Bullying is a sign of immaturity and insecurity. You’re gorgeous and kind and fabulous – just own that and leave the rest in the dust of your darling heels!
Coming Up Roses
