This was hands down the most miserable day in Charleston. It was so hot! I was so bummed because Downtown Charleston is so gorgeous and there are so many fun stores but we were so irritated by the heat that we couldn’t enjoy anything. So, when I had the chance to stop inside Moon & Lola, I took it! Not only was it an AC’d store, but it was a haven with lots of color, fun accessories and the sweetest associates! I absolutely love all of their long necklaces and bracelets. I ended up taking this cuff and this long necklace home with me and am patiently waiting for the mailman to bring me some new goodies, which I can’t wait to show you!

I wore a really simple and casual outfit because I knew I would be walking around a lot, although I never anticipated the extreme heat. You might think I’m crazy for wearing this scarf, but it’s actually extremely light and didn’t bother me at all! I mixed prints and wore my favorite and most comfortable sandals, which are actually on sale! I’ve had these for a few weeks now and can’t even tell you how many times I’ve worn them. They’re super functional for walking a lot, or really for anything. And for the price tag? I’ll take one of each color!

These shorts are also my favorite, but you already know that because I wear them so much! I really highly recommend these shorts for any of you who love denim but don’t always want to wear your typical denim shorts. These. Are. Perfect. (!!). Also, this top is only $25 and comes in several colors… it’s super light and fun for summer! I could see it paired with a maxi skirt or white jeans.
