Dressing Down a Lace Cami

Happy Monday! I can’t believe another weekend has come and gone… I’m depressed, to say the least. I always get really bad anxiety on Mondays and I’m trying to find ways to control that because it affects my health and my state of mind throughout the day. Something I’m working on and will keep you updated if I find coping mechanisms! Today, though, I wanted to share with you this lace cami that they got in navy! Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear so I was thrilled when I saw they carried it in navy. It’s only $55 and I can honestly tell you I wear it so much. I wore it on Friday to go out with friends and everyone always compliments it! I wanted to share with you how I would dress down this lace cami since I know a lot of people would only wear it at night.

I decided to pair it with white jeans, which are under $100 and so comfortable! I’m really picky with white jeans and didn’t want to spend too much on a new pair since I’m working on losing weight and getting into better shape. This specific pair is under $70 and I find them to be really flattering! They’re also breathable, which is important when you’re living in a hot place like Miami. To dress it down even more, I decided to throw on my favorite denim jacket. Now, I think everyone needs a good denim jacket in their closet. I wear mine SO much! Probably a few times a week. Even if it’s hot outside, I’ll wear it tied around my waist or bring it with me if it’s cold in restaurants or stores. I think this look is easy and casual enough for a shopping or errands run, but it’s also cute enough to be able to go on a lunch date or for coffee with your bestie!

For reference, I just wear stickies under this top. I’m not sure which ones I use because I lost the packaging but you can buy them at any boutique or at Nordstrom. It really is the best top, though. I have it in white, black and now navy. Thinking about getting a new color soon because I wear it so much! How cute would it look with cutout shorts in the summer? Yes, please (first I need a tan though). I’m wearing a medium. And you know I’m always wearing my taudrey TFD Set.
