One thing you may know about Miami: it barely ever gets cold. Living in the sunshine state has its pros, but it definitely has its cons. Take, for example, no change in seasons. We don’t get the pretty fall leaves, the beautiful winter snow (minus when it gets all dirty and slushy), or pretty blooms during spring. So today I’m sharing with you some Miami fall style.
Since it doesn’t get too cold, I can definitely still wear shorts all throughout fall and winter. But, to add a fall touch, I like to wear comfortable sweaters, like this one. I posted this sweater last week (here) and told you that I had it in three colors. Well, I wasn’t joking! This sweater is honestly so comfortable and I’m thinking about also getting the navy. I love the cut, the feel and the coziness of it. I’m a sweater hoarder, but this one is definitely in my top three!
I added in my favorite gold flats, which you guys helped me choose on Snapchat. I absolutely love these flats because they bring some life to any outfit. The shiny gold is so pretty and they are honestly so comfortable. I don’t wear flats very often. These are the only ones I wear, and although they are pricey, they are worth it!
If you follow me on Snapchat (laurenpatao) and Instagram (faurenashleypatao) you’ll see that I’ve been wearing some Miranda Frye Jewelry a lot lately. This bangle set has been on my wrist every since I received it in the mail. Also, these rings are gorgeous! I absolutely love how dainty all of the jewelry is. I paired my new necklace with a longer tassel necklace to add some layers. I definitely recommend checking out Miranda Frye Jewelry. The price point is great, too!
Lastly, if you’re looking for a great nude lip, this is my new favorite! It’s also a lip balm so it moisturizes at the same time (color is Amaretto Swirl).
Anyways, I wanted to share this quote with you from Design Love Fest. I think sometimes we forget to let ourselves rest. So, remember to give yourself a break. (I’m also trying to tell this to myself). You can’t do everything. So prioritize and accomplish what you can with what you have.
I hope you have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by! You are the best! xo
Love that olive color of the sweater! I have a similar sweater from last season and it’s one of my favorites!

Such a cute and casual outfit. Loving that olive colored sweater!
Definitely digging the shorts in the fall! It will be awhile before it’s cooler here too. Cutest as always!

I can definitely see how living in Miami would have both pros and cons. I do hate being in the cold all winter long but I’m not sure I would love giving up fall either. Those flats and your bag are on my wish list! <3
Cozy sweater! I ~wish~ it never got cold where I live. There is something magical about fresh snow, though. And I needed that quote today. I get stressed out too easily!

This is such a great warm weather fall outfit! The weather in Charlotte has been so strange lately- chilly one day, humid and hot the next! It’s making fall fashion so strange!! Haha.

That sweater looks so comfy!
Love the olive top and that necklace! Such a cute look for fall, I wish it was still warm enough for shorts!
I wish NYC fall would permit wearing shorts – I want the warm weather! Lovin’ that quote and design…just made it my wallpaper as a constant reminder to rest, seeing as 99% of the time, I’m goin’. x Nicole | http://www.changeanddress.com
I couldn’t be more jealous that you can wear shorts in the fall! I can wear them year-round at home, but at school I’m majorly bundled up!
Olive looks great on you, girl!
