Mama life is a new journey for me and I can't wait to take you along for the ride and go through it together.
I thought of this post yesterday while I was online shopping and quickly realized that I resort to the same brands each time. Since I don’t have a Nordstrom in NYC, it’s so important to me to stick to the brands I love and have worn for years! So, below you will find some of my favorite brands, what I have my eye on from that brand + any sizing info!
Free People: there’s no doubt that I love Free People. This has been one of my favorite brands for years. And, while it can be a bit pricier at times, the quality is completely worth it. I usually go for a size small in all things Free People-related and everything has fit fine. Of the over 50 pieces I’ve ordered in my lifetime from FP, I’ve only ever returned 1. That’s when you know! For me, I like to invest in pieces that I know I’ll wear for years to come. For example, this sweater is my new spring staple and I also bought it in coral. The first week I got the ivory one, I wore it three days in a row! Now I have the coral one and am currently eyeing the slate gray one. I also have this sweater on the ivory and grey, too! Do you see a color pattern? I also have this in white and lilac. See my other favorites below! (I just ordered THIS).

Lush: I have loved this brand ever since I started shopping at boutiques (when I moved back to Miami and was in middle school!). This brand continues to bring out the best styles, patterns and silhouettes all for a great price. I have so many great pieces from them (especially since I always shop at Habit Boutique in Coral Gables and she carries so many items from them). The dress above is from last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but it came back now in amazing colors. I’m thinking of getting the black one because it’s such a staple piece. I also love this top and have it in black. It’s perfect for date night. This is also a great staple tee (but make sure to size up). And I want THIS! You probably recognize this dress from Instagram. It’s from Lush and one of my favorites! It also comes in a short sleeve version, which would look really cute with a plaid top wrapped around your waist. It runs true to size (I’m wearing a small). The perfect tunic that you can tuck in or leave out with leggings. It’s currently on sale, too! Runs true to size.
For tops, I usually like to go up to a size medium because I like it to be comfortable. But, their clothes really run true to size. I currently have this top in my cart and love how perfect it will be for spring!

Madewell: Madewell has been a recent favorite of mine. The quality of their clothing is just so good and everything is comfortable and versatile for everyday use. I love this blouse so much and am thinking about picking it up in other colors/patterns. I also love this sweater because it’s still cozy but a perfect color to transition you into spring. While their prices can be a little higher, they are totally worth it! You can find this top here. This is one of my favorites! You can get it here.

BB Dakota: now this brand definitely is in my top THREE favorite brands! I can’t explain what it is, but everything they make is so amazing. While it’s a little pricier, it’s so worth it. I can already see myself wearing this to brunch on Saturdays once spring has sprung. I also love this little white dress with gladiator sandals in the summer. They also finally brought THIS dress back (from the photo above) and also have it in black and this white dress. I also just purchased this and can’t wait to get it. This jacket is a closet staple and one of my favorites! It’s also only $87.
