Mama life is a new journey for me and I can't wait to take you along for the ride and go through it together.
I absolutely love denim shorts. I think they’re one of the most versatile pieces a gal can have in her closet. But, let’s be honest, a lot of times it seems really tough to be able to dress them up to get that ‘chic girl-on-the-go’ look. Over the years, I’ve found a few tips and tricks that help to dress up denim shorts. These tips will allow you to wear your shorts from everything to brunch, lunch, meetings and special occasions. A lot of people have a misconception that denim shorts = your booty out. Nope.
Here are my tips to dress up your denim!
Obviously, you can alter any of these tips to fit your own needs/tastes. I’ve just found that these serve as a great guideline for me when wearing a pair of denim shorts! I’m wearing these. They are expensive but I wear them all of the time… so they’re worth the investment!
How do you dress up your denim shorts? Do you have a favorite pair? I would love to hear! Also, tomorrow my first newsletter will go out only to those who are subscribed to my blog! Subscribe over to the right. 🙂
Thanks so much for reading! Can’t wait to hear how you dress up your denim! 🙂 xo

I just got this top in and love it! I sized up to a medium and it’s perfect. Also, this is the best and comfiest sweater ever and comes in several colors! Wearing size small. Has a slouchy and super comfortable fit.

In love with these denim shorts! Not too scandalous & I’m all about that this summer. Super jealous of that gorgeous straight hair too while I sit here with my curls & humidity! x Nicole | http://www.changeanddress.com
SO obsessed with these shorts! And I’m going to Nordstrom today to get those flats, I promised myself I wouldn’t get anything else from the NSale, but they’re too good. I have no idea what color I want in the flats, they’re all beautiful!

When temperatures get up over a hundred and twenty degrees, you start to think slightly less about looking great and just surviving – cute jean shorts are a great solution for that problem!

Denim shorts are my favorite summer staple! You rocked this look!!
I love this look! It’s so simple. I really like how you paired jean shorts with a more formal button down.
