Summer Style With Maggy London

I was recently challenged by Maggy London to pick out a Maggy London dress, a GiGi New York clutch and a Loren Hope cuff to create the perfect summer look for sunny days and warm nights. I was extremely excited because 1) I love a challenge and 2) all of those brands are amazing and pair so beautifully together!

I created my look based on where I live and how I want to represent myself. Since Miami is so hot, I went with this shift dress because it’s extremely light, a really beautiful color to transition from day to night and goes well with so many other bright colors! I’m so happy I chose this dress. It’s sooo soft and I’ve found myself wearing it with colors like green, white, pink and even neons! This lightweight dress will definitely be a summer staple for me.

For my clutch, I chose the Carly Clutch in desert rose. While I could have easily gone with white, I really wanted to play with color. I love the desert rose color mixed with the beautiful blue of the dress. Plus, this clutch is the prettiest color clutch I think I own! You can also wear it three ways – as a clutch, a cross body, or a shoulder bag!

I chose my accessory last and went with this Loren Hope cuff. I thought that the coral went perfectly with the clutch and added something special to the blue of the dress.  It ended up really bringing out the desert rose color of the clutch and I love coral mixed with blue! It’s one of my favorite color combos. I kept all other accessories to a minimum and made sure they were neutral as to not take away from the three statement pieces. 🙂
